Greg Sahlegel is Vice President Business Development for Shertrack, LLC. He is internationally recognized as a supply chain expert and thought leader. With over 25 years supply chain executive leadership experience, Greg held leadership positions with several Fortune 100 companies and spent over 7 years as an IBM Supply Chain Executive Consultant.
Greg is highly published and a frequent speaker at conferences, seminars and webinars. He presents papers on supply chain management, risk management, Lean/Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints throughout the US and around the globe. Greg is recognized by his peers as an industry leader and Past President of APICS’ International Society. Greg also served on APICS Strategic Direction Committee and the Editorial Board for DC Velocity magazine.
Greg shares his supply chain expertise with university students and supply chain professionals. He served as IBF forecasting certification instructor, taught operations management at the University of Scranton, St. Johns University and invited as a special guest lecturer at ASU and Rutgers University.
Greg is presently a member of the Business Intelligence Roundtable for Villanova University and teaching graduate level supply chain risk management at Lehigh University. For over three years, Greg has been facilitating Supply Chain Risk Management workshops around the globe. Greg is certified CPIM, CSP in systems and a Theory of Constraints Certified Jonah. He holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Computer Science from Penn State University and did his graduate work at Lake Forest College.
